Royal Osteoporosis Society
The National Osteoporosis Society is the only UK-wide charity dedicated to ending the pain and suffering caused by osteoporosis and fragile bones. More than three million people in the UK are affected by osteoporosis, which can cause bones to break easily. This national charity offers free support and information to people affected, including a helpline that receives more than 13,000 enquiries a year and a wide range of free publications.

Parkinson’s UK
Parkinson’s UK is the support and research charity for Parkinson’s disease. In the past 40 years, they have invested over £45 million into groundbreaking research to advance understanding and improve treatments. They understand the difficulties of living with Parkinson’s and offer information and support to everyone affected by the condition. Their aim is to find a cure and improve life for everyone living with Parkinson’s.

Disabled Living Foundation (DLF)
Disabled Living Foundation (now Living made easy) is a national charity providing impartial advice, information and training on independent living since 1969.
Visitors to their website will find that DLF offers many ways to find out about daily living and assistive technology. Their Living Made Easy section offers advice on useful equipment for inside and outside the home. Whilst their award-winning online advice guide tool helps if you’re unsure what items might be right for you. There’s also a helpline that you can use for free, impartial advice about mobility products or other types of daily living equipment for older and disabled people.
Stannah supports independent living in the home and hopes to encourage people with mobility challenges to be better informed.

RiDC
RiDC is an independent consumer research charity providing free, practical, and unbiased reports for older and disabled people.
They carry out various research on everything from products to services and publish the information they find to enable disabled and older people to live independently.
RiDC is also actively involved with a number of groups and working parties that are specifically concerned with consumer issues around products and services for older and disabled people.
